TBS 460: CNC cylindrical grinding machine for high-precision external and internal grinding

We defined some special requirements in the development of our new CNC cylindrical grinding machine: It should be operable even in limited space conditions, while still being able to machine workpieces up to 380 mm in length. It should be capable of both single-part and series production. While your control system should already come equipped with plenty of grinding programs, it should also be easy to adapt to individual requirements. The result of these demanding specifications is our new CNC cylindrical grinding machine for high-precision external and internal grinding TBS 460: an impressive production centre in an impressively small space.

Our TBS 460 is based on the  tested components of the traditional Tschudin brand. Extremely rigid mainframe (grey cast iron machine bed, workhead and grinding wheelhead, tailstock); high-precision V- and flat guides;

hydraulically operated longitudinal and cross slide adjustment as well as hydrodynamically mounted grinding spindle: all these features guarantee maximum precision and operational safety as well as a long service life.
